Sparkle Season

It's the second week of November which means I am already two weeks behind immersing myself in the  holiday season, synonymous for sparkle season. It doesn't matter what holiday(s) you celebrate, we know you'll be frequenting holiday soirees in some shimmer, glimmer and all things nice.

Flirty and Fierce. Two looks, one trench.

It's raining (again) here in New York and since the drops aren't stopping for the next few days I thought I would blog about fun and pretty rain gear to hopefully brighten the mood. This Burberry Prorsum trench is divine and definitely an investment piece, but I think it's worth it. Depending on your mood, it can be styled to go with countless looks including punk, fun, sexy, girly and even edgy. Here are two ways I would wear it..flirty and fierce.

Flirty.

*Todays Hautefit* Pretty in Pink

I don't usually wear a lot of pink because I feel just a little too girly, but I couldn't resist this fun frock from h&m. I felt comfortable in it because the hue of pink and the dresses cut was more flirty than formative. Plus the dress itself is pretty simple which is always a good excuse for me to haute things up -- this time I used a bunch of shinny bling. This faux vintage necklace is becoming a new favorite of mine!
