 The temperatures may be dropping in NYC but there is still a little warmth in Sunny California and other lovely locales near the equator. If you're anything like me you don't walk but run when winter shows its head for the first time. Here's to thinking warmly...

The sun is shinning and the leaves are falling, it is officially fall. I wanted to capture the big and beautiful green leaves before they drifted away, so I went green.  I love the glam of the YSL chunky ring mixed with my rustic and oh so loved TOMS shoes. Side note - I don't think I have a pair of more comfortable slip-ons than my TOMS.  I have three pair and it is also nice to know that every pair I bought, a pair was given to a child in need. Toms recently donated their millionth pair through this initiative!  Also,  if you've been keeping up with The Haute Type, you know I've been obsessing over tribal prints lately. I wore another Navajo inspired hautefit here and even featured this sweater here.

The abrupt disappearance of our Indian Summer will teach me to wait three days to post a hautefit, however, my current obsession with Navajo inspired prints (which I also talked about here) will push me to post anyway. And, just because the temperature dropped over 30 degrees doesn't mean I won't be wearing this frock anymore. I think a pair of maroon tights with tan boots like these or even cowboy boots like these, topped off with a faux fur vest like these will keep me perfectly cozy through the cooler months!

*Todays Hautefit* Pretty in Pink

I don't usually wear a lot of pink because I feel just a little too girly, but I couldn't resist this fun frock from h&m. I felt comfortable in it because the hue of pink and the dresses cut was more flirty than formative. Plus the dress itself is pretty simple which is always a good excuse for me to haute things up -- this time I used a bunch of shinny bling. This faux vintage necklace is becoming a new favorite of mine!
